Morning Class

Led by Padmini Chettur from Basement 21

Narrating Time/Space

'For more than two decades now, I have been investigating ideas of time and space, viewing them mostly as strategies to connect dancers to each other within a group, as well as a concrete way to define the space around bodies. Embodied in this research has been very precise attention to small detail and an incredible arrival at freedom within bound parameters. This class will be an introduction to my ways of working.'

Padmini Chettur is one of the artists from Basement 21 leading Interruption, our project that's part of the UK India Year of Culture 2017.
