We're thrilled that Daina Ashbee is joining us for a week-long residency at Chapter as part of this year's festival.
Daina Ashbee is an artist, performer and choreographer based in Montréal. She is known for her radical works at the edge of dance and performance which intelligently approach complex subjects and taboos such as female sexuality, Métis identity and climate change.
Daina is currently working on two new productions that will premiere in 2020. She will spend time developing one of these whilst with us in Cardiff.
This Open Studio will be an opportunity for Daina to share with us what she's been working on at the end of her residency.

Daina is artist-in-residence at Agora de la danse and the associate artist of Centre de Création O Vertigo (CCOV).
